Aspiring Authors Magazine was created to bring BROWN AUTHORS from around the WORLD together under one platform to Support, Strategize and Share with each other. Angela created AAALAC in October 2016 to bring awareness to authors of African descent and literacy within our communities all over the world. March 2020, Angela was on sharing a dream with a friend and long story short Aspiring Authors Magazine was created.
The magazine is designed to give the world an opportunity to meet some amazing BROWN SKINNED AUTHORS from all over the world. We highlight authors monthly throughout our magazine. We also highlight small BROWN business owners. We have an editor's corner where you can ask the editor questions or make comments. Ask Samantha J column is where you can ask your questions about books and the business around books. Poetry Corner is where we publish various original poems from around the world. Short Story Contest is a monthly competition where you can submit your 250-300 word short story for your chance to be published on out website and Facebook page. Angela is an advocate for many things affect her communities around the world so in the community section we are touching on these topics (from education, Domestic Violence to Sexual Assault, varies types abuse and mental illness to single parenting).
Angela has endured a lot in life some by the choices she made in life and some because of the call on her life. Angela has a desire to serve GOD'S people but on a level that is total around LOVE and NONJUDGMENTAL environment . I want people to know that GOD is real and very much a live. He has no respectable person. Just as he saved, delivered and set me free , he'll do the same for you. If only you believe. Angela has not let anything stop her from reaching her dreams. She believes in leading by example, she can't tell you to support your brothers and sisters and she's not. She believes in Networking and Collaborations. She sometime reference herself as the QUEEN OF COLLABORATIONS and The NETWORKING Strategist. Titles don't define this Woman of God she just want people to know that they are LOVED and THEY are NOT ALONE, we have been where they are. All our stories my not be the same but we all have a story that can help someone else. We have to learn how to work together and genuinely Support others if we want that in return.
